Orthodontics can begin at any age. Many problems can detected more easily at an early age before jaw growth has slowed. The American Association of Orthodontists recommend that you see an orthodontist by age 7 or earlier if a serious problem exists.
There is no wrong age to begin orthodontics. While it is true early evaluation is recommended we have many patients of all ages. A large percent of our patients are even adults. It is never too late to want a beautiful smile!
